Environment Hydro-Engineering Nguyen, Van Thinh Professor Hydro-Engineering
About

Prof. Nguyen received his Ph.D. (Dr.-Ing.) in Hydraulic Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany. His research focuses on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and numerical modeling for applications in civil, urban and environmental engineering.

He is currently a Full Professor in the Department of Civil, Urban and Environmental Engineering at Seoul National University. He also held an Adjunct Professorship in the College of Engineering at the University of Guelph, Canada. Prof. Nguyen has served as a Visiting Professor at several universities, including the University of Waterloo, the University of Guelph, and McGill University in Canada, as well as the University of California, Davis, in the United States.
